Last.fm on UBUNTU

We all know Last.fm, i guess!!!

For those who dont know, it something of a music player, but plays music using the help of tags, and therefore, makes a hierarchy of your likes and dislikes…

In this way you end up with your own music profile…

Its called Scrobbling

For UBUNTU you can download the Last.fm deb package from here:

http://panther1.last.fm/client/Linux/lastfm_1.3.0.58_i386.deb

But its only a Feisty Package…

The problem while running last.fm on UBUNTU that I have experienced is that when you close the player the music still continues playing… Its a bug I guess… SO to close last.fm I have to open up “System Monitor” and kill last.fm process from there…

Inspite of its fault, I wouild still mark it as a great software for UBUNTU…
